WOW! It’s already the middle of July. This summer is flying bye too fast. Hope you all are having a wonderful summer!
We had a quiet and peaceful 4th of July. We were a tad bummed because my daughter was taking medication - which prevented her from being in direct sunlight. That pretty much left out the beach and the pool. It was an indoor weekend - boring. However, later that evening, we did take her to see the fireworks. We found a great location, up on a hill - which allowed us to see four other firework shows in other cities. Cool huh? Even though we were unable to go to the beach or the pool - the weekend turned out nice.
My daughter just turned eight years old last week. YAY!!!!! I still can’t believe it . . . LOL. She’s growing up too fast. I guess all parents want their kids to stay young. I couldn’t give her a party this year, but we ( well, my sons really ) took her to dinner on her Birthday to the Rain Forest Café. It was nice, and we had fun. We really appreciated it. It would have been nice if the rest of the family could have been there. It was during the week, and we just wouldn’t have been able to get everyone there at that time. Especially, when they all work and live far from us.
